AMAZON DISTRIBUTION CENTER

Industry: E-Commerce Distribution
Scope: HVAC Planning and Specification
Challenge: Amazon’s 400,000 sq. ft. distribution center required the strategic installation of 35 HVAC units within a condensed timeline, while adhering to strict budget constraints.
Approach: Leveraging an industrial helicopter for unit placement, we streamlined the installation process, reducing time and controlling costs compared to crane operations. Last-minute weather-related adjustments required swift revisions to permitting and scheduling logistics, ensuring smooth execution despite challenging conditions.
Results: The complex HVAC installation was completed without delays, meeting both the revised schedule and budget. The system was seamlessly integrated and commissioned, ensuring optimal climate control for Amazon's distribution operations.
GIANT FOOD STORE
Location: Broomall, PA
Industry: Retail Supermarket
Scope: Full Plumbing System Installation
Challenge: The project scope involved a complete plumbing system overhaul, including underground sanitary and storm piping, domestic water and gas piping, as well as the installation of kitchen and bathroom fixtures, all while coordinating with a Jet Vac condensation system.
Approach: We deployed an expert team to manage all fieldwork, ensuring compliance with building codes and Giant’s specifications. By coordinating the work efficiently, we kept the project on schedule and minimized any disruptions to the store’s operations.
Results: All phases were completed on time and in line with the specified design, ensuring the plumbing system was fully operational and up to code, ready for the store’s grand opening.
JEFFERSON IMAGING CENTER

Industry: Healthcare Services
Scope: HVAC Planning and Specification, MRI Coordination
Challenge: The installation of an MRI system required specialized venting and large ductwork within a constrained space and tight timeframe, without interrupting adjacent medical practices in the building.
Approach: Our team coordinated the design and installation of the HVAC system, including piping a chiller and relocating refrigerant piping to the roof. We worked closely with the client to adjust our schedule, minimizing disruptions to other businesses in the building.
Results: The project was successfully completed within the established timeline, with all HVAC and venting systems fully operational, supporting the MRI’s unique requirements and ensuring patient comfort.

Scope: HVAC and Plumbing Planning and Specification
Challenge: Taylor Farms required the installation of several large rooftop HVAC units while maintaining ongoing production at their tortilla manufacturing facility, which operates under strict USDA food-grade standards.
Approach: We carefully coordinated the procurement of materials and installed specialty HVAC and plumbing equipment to meet USDA regulations. Our team managed the project without disrupting the facility’s daily operations, ensuring compliance with all government standards.

Challenge: The MRI equipment’s specialty venting required large, intricate ductwork to be installed in a small space on a highly compressed schedule.
Approach: Pipe in a chiller and relocate much of the refrigerant piping to the roof. Coordinate the design and installation to avoid interruption of other businesses operating in the building.
